The platform runs multiple specialized models in parallel to adapt responses to clinical contexts and displays confidence color‑coding; it also undergoes continuous clinician review by experts from institutions including Harvard, Yale and the Mayo Clinic. Vera reports rapid adoption: monthly question volume in France grew from 7,000 in January to 200,000 in June 2026, with 31,000 registered users nationally and more than 24,000 practicing physicians in six months; it claims over 400,000 clinician users internationally. The tool scores highly on benchmark tests (NEJM-AI, MedXpertQA) and reached 97.5% on the USMLE in reporting. The company has launched customizable "Espaces" to let hospitals include local protocols and has formed partnerships such as integration with the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP). Vera was selected by Y Combinator in July 2024 and, after YC, raised a $3M seed led by Gradient.
