Verbatica is an educational platform that uses AI to teach Arabic and English. The product relies on a proprietary language model trained on a methodology created by experienced practicing teachers. Users can study independently or with instructors and may switch at any time between single lessons and ongoing courses. New vocabulary is collected into a separate dictionary with interactive flashcards, and progress is tracked via a "Language Intelligence" (LQ) score covering reading, listening, writing, speaking, and cultural context. The service also recommends books and films and provides cultural content to help learners immerse in the target language's traditions and history. The project was launched by a team led by Nikita Savilov (an MGIMO graduate) and Nikolai Morozov. The company announced it raised $700,000 in a pre-seed round in the UAE.
