Verde Beef Processing is an integrated beef producer founded in 2014 by Verdant Frontiers and Scott Friesen. The company undertakes feed production and feedlotting and operates a beef farm in the Adami Tulu district near Ziway, Oromia, Ethiopia. It is currently constructing an abattoir and meat processing facility to expand its processing capacity. The expansion is sited close to the new railway line to Djibouti, which may aid logistics. The recent capital injection is earmarked to complete the facility and provide working capital for ongoing operations.
