Verified.Codes operates a coupons and deals platform that uses a proprietary algorithm to verify that codes will work at checkout and to mathematically arrange verified coupons based on users' preferences. Launched in early 2014 by CEO Greg Dash, the service is available for over 25,000 online retailers. The company raised $500K in seed funding in February 2015. The names of the backers were not disclosed. Verified.Codes intends to use the funds to add staff, further enhance its algorithm, and improve the customer couponing experience. It also plans to expand relationships with e-tailers to increase the inventory of working coupons.
