Veritas Entertainment operates an esports event business and has built LVL, a 26,000 square-foot Berlin esports and gaming entertainment venue. LVL includes a production studio, virtual reality experiences, a noise-canceling dome for pro matches, a section with more than 50 gaming PCs, and an event stage that fits 12 players and 200 attendees. The two-floor venue near Checkpoint Charlie will officially open to the public on March 26 and is designed for fans, casual players, pros, content creators, livestreamers, cosplayers, musicians, and artists. G2 Esports will claim LVL as its home and official Berlin venue. Veritas raised $10 million from Bitkraft Esports Ventures and angel investors to build LVL’s infrastructure, scale the operations team, and expand to additional cities worldwide. Management acknowledged coronavirus-related risk and said it has contingency plans, including the option to run only digital production from LVL if needed.
