Veritas Genetics provides whole genome sequencing and targeted genetic screening tests focused on hereditary cancer and reproductive health. The company was co-founded in 2014 by Dr. George Church, Mirza Cifric, Preston Estep III, and Jonathan Zhao and is based in Boston, MA, with offices in the U.S., Europe and China. In October 2016 it raised $30M in a Series B, bringing total funding to $42M. Veritas plans to use the capital to expand its product portfolio and operations, enhance the consumer digital experience, and establish partnerships with hospitals and researchers globally.
