Vermiculus Financial Technology is an independent, global provider of mission-critical technology to exchanges, clearing houses, and CSDs, led by CEO Taraneh Derayati. The company was founded in 2022 and is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden; it was created by a group of former leaders from Cinnober Financial Technology. Vermiculus consists of hand-picked teams trained to deliver high-performing solutions and has completed more than 75 projects for major exchanges, clearing houses, and CSDs. The firm recently secured USD 5.55M via a minority investment from L4 Venture Builder. The transaction is expected to close in the coming weeks. L4 is an independent investment fund with committed capital of R$600 million provided by B3 S.A., focused on supporting technology and innovation.
