Overview
Versori builds data integration software that reduces integration times from weeks to hours, aimed at enterprises and SaaS vendors. The company was co-founded by Sean Brown and CTO Daniel Jones and graduated from Y Combinator in March 2023. Versori says it helps customers solve complex integrations and workflow automations without the cost, time-to-live and resource requirements of other solutions. It already works with large customers including Frasers Group, Macy’s and the MoD. The team positions the product for global impact and believes the market opportunity is large (the article cites more than $350bn spent on complex data integration problems). Financially, Versori has completed a fresh $5.5M seed raise and has accrued over $10M in funding in less than two years. Versori builds data infrastructure solutions centered on its flagship product, Switchboard. Switchboard is an any-to-any system integration and workflow automation platform powered by AI tools for schema building, data transformations, and data mappings. The product targets system-led integration use cases including ERP systems, e-commerce platforms, CRMs and other critical systems. Versori aims to improve customers' data management, operational efficiency, and decision-making capabilities through integration and automation. The company intends to use its latest funding to accelerate development of Switchboard and to expand its go-to-market team via strategic hires. Versori is led by Founder and CEO Sean Brown. Versori provides Switchboard, a platform that enables users to build integrations, workflow automations, data transformations and run migrations across legacy, custom, SaaS systems and databases. Tools within Switchboard include automated workflows, data mappings, transformations, monitoring and security features. The company intends to use the recent funding to further develop platform features and grow its client base in the UK and USA. The raise arrives as Versori targets large commercial growth going into 2023 following an R&D-intensive 2022. Versori will keep its Engineering and Product teams in the UK under Co-Founder Dan Jones while CEO Sean Brown focuses on building the commercial team in the USA. The company is in an early-stage financial position after raising $500K from Y Combinator via SAFEs. Versori is developing two core products: Switchboard, an integration platform that allows businesses of any size to integrate with other software regardless of data structures, and Koja, a digital wallet and fintech payment platform. Switchboard aims to automate essential processes and workflows to address workforce shortages and is set to launch with alpha customers in the coming weeks. Koja is designed to connect customer phones and browsers directly with stores for online and in-person checkout, aiming to speed checkout and lower merchant costs. The company says proceeds will be used to build these platforms and to expand its team with a focus on technology development. Versori positions itself to become a go-to choice for business infrastructure in the UK. The company plans a Series A in October to further scale market presence for both products.
