Vertigenius develops a wearable head-sensor medical device and platform that enables clinicians to remotely monitor vertigo patients and track treatment progress. The company registered with the FDA and launched in the US in October, where 20 clinics in 11 states have used its device to treat around 3,000 patients. Vertigenius says its platform accelerates clinician workflows, reduces clinic visits, and enables clinics to access additional insurance reimbursement for remote monitoring in the US. The company positions the US as an addressable market of over €3bn with more than 5,000 vestibular clinics and plans to grow its US commercial presence. With a €2.55m raise following a €2.1m round in 2024, Vertigenius will hire across clinical research, product R&D, quality assurance and regulatory affairs while maintaining its Irish headquarters. Vertigenius aims to expand further across Europe and into Asia Pacific over the next five years.
