The company is primarily active in six markets, with Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. the most active. Its team of six works from a private office in the Industrious coworking space on South Broad Street. VeryApt plans to use the new funding to expand into new markets, grow the team, and develop a mobile app. Management hopes to be in at least 20 markets by the end of 2016. The company previously received funding from the city’s StartUp PHL angel fund and has now raised $735,000 in its latest financing.
