VeryLastRoom operates a mobile app that lets hotels fill empty rooms by discounting remaining inventory; unlike Hotel Tonight, its prices fall in real time throughout the day and hit the lowest point at 2am. The company says it has a stronger offering in France and Spain compared with Hotel Tonight. CEO and co-founder Nicolas Salin is publicly leading the effort to capture the French market.
