Overview
Vetstem is a biotechnology company developing veterinary cell-based regenerative therapies and pharmaceutical agents for pets. One of its products, Vezotil, is an analogue combining zolazepam and tiletamine intended to replace imported medicines absent from the Russian market. The company is a resident of Skolkovo and the Moscow Innovation Cluster. Vetstem plans over the next five years to expand its portfolio based on internal developments and to establish its own manufacturing site, including facilities for biological products. It raised 24 million rubles from Moscow Seed Fund and will use the funds to complete preclinical and clinical studies, validate the product at manufacturing sites, and produce initial industrial batches.
