Overview
Veza’s core product is the Access Platform, which assembles permissions, authorization data, and activity into a unified model to give enterprises visibility and control over entitlements and enforce least privilege. The company has expanded its product set with Access AI, Access Requests, Role Recommendations, and an Access Hub, and supports over 250 integrations including CrowdStrike and Snowflake. Veza manages over 20 billion permissions and secures access for millions of enterprise users across Fortune 500 and Global 2000 customers. Financially, Veza more than doubled year‑over‑year ARR last year and reported enterprise net revenue retention nearing 150%. The company has grown its team to more than 190 employees and plans to add 30–40 hires each quarter. Veza will use new funding to accelerate worldwide go‑to‑market efforts and further product development. Veza is an identity security company that provides an Access Platform and has launched Access AI, a generative AI-powered solution to maintain the principle of least privilege at enterprise scale. Access AI offers a chat-like interface to answer natural-language entitlement questions, prioritize and remediate risky access, recommend least-privilege roles, and create ITSM tickets for remediation across human and non-human identities. Veza's platform includes NHI (non-human identity) insights and access security, lifecycle management with role recommendations and provisioning to 10 new targets (including Active Directory, Entra ID, Okta, Salesforce, and Snowflake), and activity monitoring for Okta, Snowflake, and AWS IAM. The product stack also provides analytics such as Over-Privileged Access Scores (OPAS), 20+ out-of-the-box dashboards by persona and risk type, Veza Query Language (VQL) APIs, and a Risk Profile for privilege threat hunting. The company said an investment from J.P. Morgan brings total funding to $132 million; Veza intends to use the investment to accelerate product innovation. Veza is positioning its Access Graph, Access AI, and expanded platform capabilities to help security, identity, application security, and compliance teams prevent, detect, and respond to identity-related incidents at enterprise scale. Veza helps companies secure identity and authorization across applications, data systems and cloud infrastructure by building an authorization graph to make sense of authorization metadata. It enables firms to enforce policies, monitor in real time for violations and risky permissions, and automatically block or revoke unauthorized access. The company was founded in 2020 and launched out of stealth in April 2022. Veza claims to have over a hundred customers, including Wynn Resorts, Blackstone, Expedia, SoFi, Warby Parker, Wayfair, Zoom and Intuit. The Palo Alto-based startup expects to employ 150 people by the end of the year. Following the latest round, Veza says it has three years of runway and will invest the proceeds in product development, expanding sales capacity and go-to-market execution. Veza offers a data security platform centered on an Authorization Metadata Graph that organizes identities, relationships, and granular data objects across cloud and on-premises systems. The platform integrates agentless and out-of-band with identity, data, apps, compute, and infrastructure systems via a high-performance streaming engine. A canonical object model and a translation layer normalize system-specific permissions into a single control pane, supporting real-time search, access-governance workflows, least-privilege alerts, remediation automation, and recommendations. Veza supports both on-premise and cloud environments and targets data and security teams at large enterprises. The company says it has attracted numerous Fortune 500 and emerging customers across finance, health care, hospitality, media, and technology. Veza announced funding totaling more than $110 million as it emerges from stealth and says it is committed to helping enterprises modernize data security for the hybrid multi-cloud era.
