VIDA provides a map-based geospatial platform that fuses multiple data layers to make it easy to assess, monitor and report climate risk and other environmental markers. Its interface shows real-time conditions across millions of locations and centralizes data that is typically stored in disparate formats. The software enables collaboration among stakeholders, helps de-risk decisions, supports regulatory compliance and helps users discover investment opportunities. VIDA is used in over 20 countries by leading infrastructure funds, institutional investors, governments and multinational companies. Founded in 2018 with support from the European Space Agency, the company announced a €3 million funding round from Cusp Capital. The investment is intended to accelerate growth, reach new markets, build out climate risk and impact assessment tools, broaden product offerings and scale operations.
