Videregen develops organ replacement products by producing biological scaffolds that are seeded with a patient’s own stem cells to create bespoke organ replacements. The company initially focuses on diseases of the trachea and bowel. It works in collaboration with the NHS Blood and Transplant centre in Speke, University College London teams, the Cell Therapy Catapult and the Royal Free London. Videregen intends to use the newly raised funds to advance manufacture development and clinical research. The financing package underscores progress toward clinical translation of its regenerative-medicine platform. The company is led by CEO Dr Steve Bloor.
