Overview
Vidyakul provides live lectures and pre-recorded courses in Hindi, Gujarati, Bhojpuri and English aimed at state-board students. The platform says it enables more than 10 lakh students across 10 states to access education in four major Indian languages. Founded in 2019, Vidyakul emphasizes a classroom-like, tailor-made learning experience according to founder Tarun Saini. The company highlights a large content bank and a regional focus to serve tier II and III demand. Vidyakul has secured external funding to support growth and partnerships with businesses committed to state-board students, and its recent round is intended to further those efforts. Vidyakul operates a vernacular after-school e-learning platform delivering state-board courses in multiple Indian languages. The platform currently offers education in four languages and has reached about 10 lakh students across 10 states, including more than 2 lakh students from Gujarat. It maintains a content bank of over 100,000 video lectures covering 10+ state boards across Maths and Science and targets Bharat/Tier II–III markets. The company enables teachers to create online courses and focuses on affordable access for state-board students. Vidyakul plans to add three more languages and introduce courses for three additional state boards by the end of the fiscal year. Financially, the startup raised a $500,000 bridge round and had previously raised a $500,000 seed earlier this year; it will use the new funds to expand the team and enhance platform functionality.
