Viewics is a Sunnyvale, Calif.-based healthcare analytics company that provides health systems and ACOs with a HIPAA-compliant platform. Led by co-founder and CEO Dhiren Bhatia, the company delivers data-driven management solutions that drive data intelligence and collaboration across clinical, financial, executive and IT healthcare professionals. On February 8, 2016, Viewics raised $10.5m in funding. Backers included Canvas Ventures, Roche Venture Fund and City National Bank, and Simon Meier of Roche Venture Fund will take a seat on Viewics’ board. Viewics said it will use the funds to further scale the business and to innovate its healthcare management solutions. Viewics provides Viewics Health Insighter (VHI), a cloud-based, software-as-a-service platform that enables healthcare organizations to aggregate, extract and share insights from the vast amounts of data in their information systems. The company is led by founder and CEO Dhiren Bhatia and is based in Sunnyvale, California. Over 100 hospitals and laboratories currently use Viewics solutions. Viewics secured an additional $8M in funding to support growth and product innovation. The company intends to invest the proceeds in expanding its product and scaling operations. VHI’s focus is on enabling healthcare providers and laboratories to derive actionable insights from disparate data sources.
