VIKTOR provides a low-code platform that lets engineers quickly create, automate, optimise and share expert web apps, using parametric and generative design techniques. The platform targets engineering and construction firms as well as SMEs and independent engineers, with clients including Arcadis and WSP. Co-founders Peter Madlener and Wouter Riedijk developed the product after earlier startups and launched VIKTOR’s product in 2019. The company says it will use the €5.1M to expand its international company catalogue, improve marketing and sales, and continually develop the platform in response to customer demand. VIKTOR aims to make the platform accessible to all engineers and targets 100,000 app users on the platform within two years. The firm positions its technology as a way to scale engineers’ knowledge, boost productivity, and support more sustainable design decisions.
