Overview

Vincent operates an alternative asset aggregation hub that lets users scour multiple asset classes across vertical-specific partner platforms. Since launching in November, more than 100,000 people have used the platform and it has integrated 75 partner platforms. The marketplace aggregates more than $3.5 billion worth of searchable deals spanning venture capital, real estate, debt, crypto, art and collectibles. The platform is roughly an even split between accredited and unaccredited investors, and venture capital and real estate deals account for more than half of the capital flowing through the site. Vincent makes money by facilitating discovery on its partner platforms and earning fees. Founder Slava Rubin, who previously co-founded Indiegogo, is positioning the product to broaden access to alternative investments for a larger pool of investors. Vincent provides a searchable, aggregator-style database of alternative investments, aiming to help investors compare offerings across verticals. The platform launched in beta in July and is now moving to a public launch, pairing deal discovery with editorial content via a blog and newsletter. Vincent says it has partnerships with about 50 platforms, including WeFunder, SharesPost, Rally Rd. and Otis, and surfaces roughly $2 billion worth of investment opportunities. Users indicate accreditation status on the site, which determines which deals they can access, and Vincent redirects investors to partner platforms to complete transactions. The company collects fees when users are redirected to partner platforms. Slava Rubin and co‑founders Evan Cohen, Eric Cantor and Ross Cohen are positioning Vincent to simplify a fragmented market while not managing investments directly.
