Overview

Vindi operates a payment processing platform focused on subscriptions, plans and monthly payments for the retail and service sector in Brazil. The platform features more than hundreds of integrations with banks, credit-card acquirers and other financial solutions. Clients include Multiplus, Editora Abril, Thomson Reuters, VivaReal, Movile and several fast-growing startups. The company has grown through acquisitions, having acquired Aceita Fácil (2016) and Smartbill. Vindi plans to use new funding to move to a larger headquarters to accommodate around 80 employees and to invest in technology, growth and acquisitions of other fintechs. Vindi, founded in 2013 by Rodrigo Dantas and other financial-services entrepreneurs, provides a billing platform for subscription-based businesses. Its platform enables online payment processing for SaaS companies, subscription e-commerces, financial services, marketing firms, gym clubs, and education companies. The company is based in São Paulo, Brazil and counts more than 1,000 customers, including Serasa Experian, Thomson Reuters, Buscapé and Smartfit. In May 2016 Vindi raised $330K in a Series A equity financing from Criatec2 and Bozzano Investimentos. The company said it will use the funds to expand operations.
