Vaporpath is a two-year-old Bainbridge Island, Washington company that manufactures the Viora Lid, a redesigned disposable coffee cup lid that brings liquid into the top well to mimic sipping from a ceramic cup. The lid is designed to eliminate splashes and deliver a stronger aroma by allowing a drinkable amount of liquid in the well rather than through a small hole. More than 275 shops across North America are using the Viora Lid, including Intelligentsia Coffee and La Colombe, and the company is adding two to three customers per week.
