VIPorbit Software International builds contact management apps for the Apple desktop and device market. Founded in 2010 by CEO Mike Muhney and CTO Max Pucher, the company recently released a family of products and services, including a redesign of its mobile apps, VIPorbit Contact Manager for Mac, and the VIPsync Service to keep desktop and devices in sync. The company raised $1M in an angel funding round led by co-founder Max J. Pucher and Dr. Harry R. Jacobson, with participation from existing angel investors. The round brought total capital raised to date to $3.5M. VIPorbit intends to use the funds to expand its marketing efforts.
