EnergyCenter enables IT and facilities managers to understand power consumption and equipment utilization to increase data center energy productivity and efficiency. The platform’s patented optimization engine delivers actionable information to improve energy efficiency and space utilization, increasing savings on capital and operating costs. The company said it will use the new capital to accelerate marketing activities and expand development of the EnergyCenter platform. Financially, Viridity previously raised $7M in a Series A and has now completed an additional $8M Series B funding round.
