The round was led by Fongit Seed Invest SA with Peter Pfister, Initiative Capital Romandie SA (managed by DEFI Gestion) and BlueOcean Ventures as co-investors. Viroblock added Dr. Jamie Paterson as Chief Executive Officer; he brings 20 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, including serving as Chief Commercial Officer at Neurim Pharmaceuticals and holding multiple senior roles at Procter & Gamble. Chairman Peter Pfister said the new funds will bring the company to the next level.
