VirtDB develops self-service data access technology that connects legacy and new, personal and enterprise, on-premise and cloud data storages to make data easy to utilize for business people. The company was established by Starschema as a spin-off focused on this technology and is led by CEO Peter Csillag. VirtDB recently released a beta of Data Unfolder Lite, enabling SAP (R/3) users to analyze operational ERP data in BI tools like Tableau, QlikView or TIBCO Spotfire without installing components on the SAP Application Server.
