VirtualSharp Software provides next-generation automated disaster recovery solutions for private and public clouds, continuously and automatically certifying the recoverability of services running in the cloud. The company develops software that continuously certifies service recoverability for cloud deployments. It was founded in 2010 and is based in McLean, Virginia, with additional offices in Madrid and London. In May 2012 the company raised €2m in funding. Backers include co-founder and CEO Carlos Escapa, Pedro Tortosa, undisclosed American investors, Enisa and CDTI. VirtualSharp intends to raise a new round by the end of 2012 and is hiring across its North American and European offices.
