Virtur develops Biltur, a driving simulator currently offered in early access on Steam since December. The company reports roughly 3,500 downloads so far, with most users in the U.S., Poland, Germany, Russia and Norway, though Steam reviews have been modest. Biltur runs on PC with a wheel-and-pedal setup and is intended to work best in a physical simulator; several upper‑secondary schools in Trøndelag already have simulator hardware. Virtur plans to build two paid expansions—motorway driving and slippery‑road driving aimed at foreign winter tourists—and has raised NOK 10 million from private investors to fund those developments. The company is led by founder and chair Erik Haugane and recently moved its headquarters from Inderøy to Trondheim.
