Visible Capital builds a platform to give wealth managers, pension providers and IFAs controlled access to clients' financial data, enabling faster, more informed advice. Its technology leverages PSD2 and Open Banking across its wealth management products. The Edinburgh-based startup is due to launch in 2020 and has already achieved FCA approval. Visible Capital raised seed funding to support hiring and go-to-market activities. The company plans to use the funds to hire additional staff and begin talks with prospective clients, several of which are already at the discussion stage. It is led by founders Richard Braidwood, Ross Laurie and Christian Burgin.
