The site lets users anonymously compare their lives across nine sectors, including career, health, finances, leisure, transport, family and education, and provides happiness, success and lifestyle ratings. The company argues that sharing "useful" information creates more verifiable data than upbeat social status updates. VisibleNation operates as a 100% privately shared network where personal details are kept private to encourage participation. It has secured seed investment of $500,000 from undisclosed investors to build the service. CEO Nikolai Puntikov acknowledges the core challenge is engaging users sufficiently to generate the valuable data the platform seeks.
