VisitPay provides hospitals with a cloud-based online payments platform that integrates patient health-plan and provider billing data and enables tailored installment payment plans. The platform can be implemented across multiple billing systems in as little as 10 weeks. By simplifying the billing experience, VisitPay helps hospitals increase patient payments; St. Luke's reports a 50% jump in patient satisfaction and a 20% rise in payment rates. Intermountain Healthcare began deploying VisitPay this past spring and has already seen the share of patients rating billing as 'good' or 'excellent' improve by more than 40%. VisitPay rebranded from iVinci Healthcare and recently raised $15M in a round led by Norwest Venture Partners with participation from Ascension Health. CEO Kent Ivanoff said the company plans to dramatically expand the number of health systems and patient consumers it serves, reflecting demand driven by rising deductibles.
