VitAG
Beech Island, SC, 29842, United States
Overview
VitAg Corporation converts municipal biosolids into inorganic fertilizers using its VitAg recycling technology. The company produces slow-release, organically-enhanced premium granular fertilizer by combining biosolids, sulfuric acid and ammonia via a proprietary process. VitAg expects its product to be considered an enhanced efficiency fertilizer with a significant portion of nutrients released over an extended period and to meet US EPA Class A and EQ standards for land application of biosolids. The company plans to use the new capital to construct a biosolids-to-fertilizer facility near Zellwood, Florida; CDM Constructors will build the facility and A. J. Sackett will design and fabricate granulation and storage equipment. Trammo, Inc. has entered a multi-year marketing agreement to sell VitAg’s fertilizer. VitAg is based in Beech Island, South Carolina and will sell through distributors in the United States and internationally.
