Viven

Santa Clara, CA, United States

Overview

Viven, launched earlier this year by Eightfold co-founders Ashutosh Garg and Varun Kacholia, creates a specialized large language model (LLM) for every employee by ingesting their internal documents such as email, Slack messages, and Google Docs. These LLM-based “digital twins” let colleagues ask questions and receive immediate, personalized answers, reducing delays caused by time-zone differences, vacations, or other absences. A core innovation is Viven’s “pairwise context and privacy” system, which automatically determines what information each requester is authorized to see while logging all queries to discourage misuse. The platform also filters out personal or sensitive data, ensuring only appropriate work content is accessible. Viven is already deployed at several enterprises, including Genpact and Eightfold itself, validating early demand. The founders position the company as tackling a horizontal coordination problem that existing Copilot-style tools do not fully address. If broader enterprise adoption follows, the privacy-centric architecture could provide a defensible moat against future entrants. Financial details beyond its initial seed funding have not yet been disclosed.
