Vivid Vision develops a virtual reality vision-care platform delivered to optometrists and ophthalmologists for treating vision disorders. The company launched to eye-care professionals in late 2015 and is currently used in 90 clinics worldwide. More than 6,000 patients have been treated on the platform. The average course of treatment lasts eight months, with patients visiting clinics one to two times per week to use the VR system. Vivid Vision intends to use the new funding to expand and accelerate its vision care platform. The company was founded in 2014 and is led by CEO James Blaha.
