Vize is a business intelligence tool focused on data analytics and data discovery for nontechnical users. It offers no-code capabilities for preparing, cleaning, expanding, combining, visualizing, aggregating, calculating, modeling and running what-if analyses on data. Users can upload static files (CSV, XLS, JSON) or connect directly to SQL databases, with NoSQL support planned soon. The product generates interactive visualizations and basic dashboards where selecting a subset highlights other visuals in real time — an experience compared to moving around Google Maps. Target use cases include industrial sensor data, telecom log analysis and financial market data, and the company positions itself as an Excel replacement for many workflows. Vize charges $8,000 per user per year, has raised a little under $900,000, is participating in Y Combinator’s winter batch, and lists Noureddine Lakehal as a co-founder and COO.
