812 SW Washington Street Suite 800, Portland, OR, 97205, United States
Overview
Vizify builds tools that ingest individuals’ social networking data and turn it into visual visualizations and personal infographics. One of its first offerings is the Tweetsheet, which converts Twitter activity into a personal infographic. The team says it is working on a more sustainable system that gives people control over how their online identity and first impressions are presented. Vizify raised $1.2 million in startup capital from a group of angels and investors. Named investors in the round include Voyager Capital’s Bill McAleer, Matt Shobe, Geoff Entress, Bill Bryant, Chase Franklin, Tim Draper and Jonathan Sposato. The company participated in the Portland Seed Fund and TechStars Seattle incubators and is based in Portland; at the time of the article it was comprised of three founders: CEO Todd Silverstein, Jeff Cutler-Stamm and Eli Tucker. Vizify builds a platform that enables users to create interactive online profiles by aggregating activities from their existing social networks. The service pulls from networks including Twitter (already available), Facebook and LinkedIn and surfaces features such as top content, keenest followers and geographic influence. Users can sign up for priority access before launch and receive an instant infographic based on their Twitter activity. The company was co‑founded by CEO Todd Silverstein, CTO Jeff Cutler‑Stamm and VP of Engineering Eli Tucker, who previously worked together at Monsoon. Vizify is participating in the Portland Seed Fund program and TechStars (Seattle). Financially, the company received a $25K investment from the Portland Seed Fund.
