Management plans to use the new funding to accelerate sales and marketing, continue product innovation, and drive global expansion, supported by a new VP of worldwide sales appointment. VMTurbo offers a virtualization management solution that combines real-time operational performance metrics with analytics to drive workload management actions. The product is designed to assure application performance while maximizing efficient use of virtualized and cloud environments. Customers include cloud service providers and enterprises such as British Telecom, Omnicare and L-3 Communications. The company is led by president and CEO Lou Shipley and was founded in 2009.
