Voicescape develops communications software for social housing providers and local authorities, including an AI caseload manager that monitors tenant behaviour and automates rent arrears management. The company was founded in 1998 and is based in Salford, Manchester. Over 50 registered social housing providers and local authorities in the UK use its software. BGF is investing £9m, which Voicescape says it will use to increase its product offering and further develop the caseload manager tool. The company has made strategic acquisitions to enhance its behavioural insights and data science capabilities. As part of the transaction, COO Gary Haynes becomes managing director and BGF’s Pinesh Mehta and portfolio manager Jill Williams will join the board.
