Voltaïca is an independent electricity producer that develops and operates photovoltaic installations, with a focus on rooftop coverage of industrial hangars. The company was founded in 2008 in Bastia and is present in Nice and Toulouse, having opened an office in Padua in early July. It has completed nearly 650 rooftop-hangar solar projects in France. Voltaïca employs about 50 people and reported €19 million in revenue. The company recently acquired Steelgo, a Vendée-based firm specializing in metal structures. Management plans to use recent capital to strengthen on-the-ground impact and to expand in Italy, and is targeting a roughly €30 million Series B by the end of 2025 to accelerate growth.
