Voyage develops autonomous vehicle technology aimed at communities with limited transportation options and is led by CEO Oliver Cameron. Its first driverless product is a self-driving car designed to travel point-to-point within communities at speeds up to 25 mph. The company has been trialing its products in retirement communities in California and Florida, covering communities with 4,000 and 125,000 residents respectively. It plans to expand its fleet of G2 self-driving cars in California and Florida and to introduce its G3 self-driving car. Financially, Voyage has completed a $31M Series B, bringing total capital raised to $52M to date. Voyage operates a self-driving taxi service that lets customers summon autonomous vehicles to their doorstep and travel to destinations safely. The company has trialled its service in a gated community in San Jose, California, and is refining its technology and service using user feedback. Voyage is licensed to test self-driving cars on Californian roads in 2018. Led by CEO Oliver Cameron, the company intends to use new funds to develop the service globally. Financially, Voyage has raised a total of $20M to date. The latest capital is intended to advance both the technology and deployment plans.
