VREY offers an integrated EnergyOS-style platform that measures tenant shares of on-site solar output, handles billing as a certified smart metering operator and billing partner, and removes the need for property owners to assume energy supplier responsibilities. The platform supports integration of batteries, heat pumps and EV charging infrastructure and is designed to operationalise Germany’s new "Gemeinschaftliche Gebäudeversorgung" framework. VREY currently manages a three-digit number of projects across all 16 German federal states and serves private landlords, housing cooperatives, project developers and large real estate companies. For installations it works with partners selected by its customers. The company has a team of around 20 employees and will use recent funding to grow headcount and further develop its product. VREY aims to scale deployment in the multi-family segment and expand the energy use cases available to property owners.
