VST Enterprises develops VCode, an authentication technology that enables users to authenticate themselves across a variety of online transactions. Its VCode is used to protect against fraud in sectors including document verification, unattended car park payment systems, end-to-end supply chain management, and interactive charitable giving. The company says the technology addresses identity and transaction security across multiple channels. CEO Louis-James Davis stated the funding will help grow the team and advance the technology to solve more cybersecurity issues such as ID theft. The company recently completed a funding round that values it at £220 million. Investors include private backers such as entrepreneur Chris Lightbody and KPMG director Guy Weaver.
