Vurbl is a creator-first, free streaming audio platform that aggregates user-generated and professional audio across dozens of categories and enables creators to upload, earn subscribers, and monetize. The platform includes features for personalized playlists, human-curated audio stations, and an audio “snip” tool to save and share clips. Vurbl says it has indexed over 25 million pieces of audio and podcasts and covers 40 categories. The company built editorial and partnership teams to support curation and creator growth. Vurbl planned a web launch in Q4 2020 and announced upcoming mobile apps, a downloadable desktop app, and integrations for connected in-home devices. The pre-seed funds are being used to develop and launch the product and support ongoing content and partnership efforts.
