Vyclone
1600 Main St, Venice, California, 90291, United States
Overview
Vyclone’s iPhone app uses location and timestamps to match videos shot by nearby users and automatically syncs and stitches them into multi-angle mixes. The app can combine up to four camera angles, apply filters, and retains the audio track from one source. It supports offline capture—checking location and timestamps even when uploads occur later—and offers sharing to Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, plus in-app commenting, tagging, and following. Founders include Joe Sumner (Chief Creative Officer) and CEO David King Lassman; the company has an office in Los Angeles and a development team in London. The backend is described as infinitely scalable, positioning the product to support dozens of video inputs at large events such as concerts and festivals. Vyclone has raised $2.7M in seed funding from investors including A‑Grade Investments, Live Nation, DWA Investments, and Thrive Capital.
