Overview
VyomIC, founded by IIT-Madras alumni Lokesh Kabdal, Vibhor Jain, and Anurag Patil, is engineering India’s first large private satellite constellation dedicated to secure, high-precision PNT. Its core product is a LEO-based PNT payload designed to outperform legacy systems such as GPS and GLONASS by offering spoofing-proof and jamming-resistant signals. The startup’s near-term focus is a spaceborne demonstration mission that will validate the technology in orbit. Funds are also being directed toward scaling the engineering team and business development functions. Over the longer term, VyomIC intends to launch a full-fledged global network of satellites to serve autonomy, defense, and time-critical infrastructure markets with real-time navigation and timing. The company has raised $1.6 million in a pre-seed round, its first disclosed external capital, to kick-start these plans.
