Vyopta provides performance optimization and visibility across technology, workspaces and people to support collaboration. It offers 360° views across cloud and on-premise communication and collaboration technologies including Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Cisco Webex and Google Meet, delivering actionable insights and dynamic performance monitoring. Led by CEO Alfredo Ramirez, the company gives customers tools to monitor and improve connections between teams, customers and partners. In March 2021 Vyopta raised US$8m in growth funding from Vistara Capital Partners and will use the proceeds to accelerate customer acquisition and add new monitoring and analytics features. The company serves hundreds of organizations worldwide across more than 20 industries, monitors six million endpoints and tracks over 20 billion meeting minutes per year. Vyopta is a provider of monitoring and analytics tools that optimize workplace collaboration, including conference room utilization and unified communications performance. Its products, including Collaboration Performance Management and Room Insights, monitor video, voice, messaging and conference rooms across vendors such as Cisco, Microsoft, Zoom, Poly, BlueJeans and Pexip. The company serves hundreds of large enterprises and managed service providers across industries, including AIG, AstraZeneca, Shared Services Canada, Stanford University and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Vyopta reported 80% growth in new and expansion business in the first half of 2019. The firm plans to deepen integrations with leading collaboration vendors, advance its platform’s ability to optimize performance, adoption and ROI, and expand its customer success and go-to-market teams. Vyopta is based in Austin, Texas. Vyopta offers the vAnalytics platform, a single system to monitor, support and optimize large video and unified collaboration networks. Its products monitor more than 400 million video collaboration minutes per year across infrastructure from vendors including Cisco, Polycom, Microsoft, Vidyo, Acano and Pexip. Vyopta serves more than 70 large enterprise customers representing a combined total of about 3 million employees. The company built its competitive product set without outside capital and this Series A is its first venture funding. With the new capital it plans to develop products further and scale the organization, increasing headcount from roughly 25 to more than 60 by July 2016 (over 35 planned hires). Customers span more than 20 industries including health care, technology, financial services, government and higher education.
