Waddle is a Sydney fintech that provides invoice financing for small and medium enterprises, allowing SMEs to access credit lines based on their invoiced receivables. The platform integrates with accounting software including Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks to view invoicing activity in real time. Founded in 2014 by Nathan Andrews and Simon Creighton, Waddle reports a client base in "the hundreds" and says it has loaned over $200 million to date. The company previously secured a $50 million wholesale facility in 2017 and has expanded into New Zealand. Waddle says the new capital will be used to scale across Australia and accelerate integration of global financial services partners. Pierre De Villecourt of ICM Limited will join Waddle’s board following the investment.
