Wanova provides Distributed Desktop Virtualization solutions that centralize control of desktop infrastructure while optimizing the user experience and supporting full offline use. Its flagship product, Mirage, combines centralized PC image management with the ability to run images natively on a PC, preserving personalization and local performance for multimedia and disconnected work. Mirage uses layered, single-image management and optimized synchronization between local and centralized images. Wanova recently received its first U.S. patent for this centralization technology. The company will use the new funding to build global sales and support teams and to continue product development. Total funding now stands at $23 million after the latest round.
