Waved builds smart audio sensors that connect to existing sound systems and automatically analyse and adjust volume in predefined zones. Its system is designed to match music volume to crowd levels and the progression of an evening in hybrid venues that operate as restaurants, bars and nightclubs. Waved provides analytics to customers about what worked best and when, enabling refinement of audio-to-POS conversion strategies. The company is targeting restaurants, hotels and retail locations as primary customers. An example customer, Amazonia by BAR in Oslo, uses four independent music zones to optimise the dining and nightlife experience. Waved recently completed a seed funding round of €1 million.
