Wavenet, led by founder and CEO Tim Hsu, is a Taipei-based marketing-technology firm that offers advertising traffic services and SaaS marketing platforms. Its advertising traffic service helps customers buy ads on Facebook, Google, Twitter and other channels. The company developed an in-house Orca system which, together with technologies from other MarTech firms, enables remarketing, audience analysis and public-opinion monitoring; it also offers OrcaPro for B2B global marketing targeting. Clients for its advertising services include LG Household & Health Care and Yannick domestically, and Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair and Au Huat Coffee (Malaysia) internationally; its SaaS clients include Chunghwa Telecom. Wavenet raised nearly USD$3m in a Series B round led by Cornerstone Asset Holdings. The company plans to use the funds to expand operations to Japan and North America and to hire more international talent, with a goal of doubling its data analysis team.
