The platform combines an immigration attorney, AI software, and immigration specialists to verify candidates' immigration history, file visa paperwork, and automatically track renewals and compliance. WayLit says it cuts immigration-management hours by more than 80% (from about 500 hours to 60 hours per year for a company with 10 foreign national employees) and lowers related costs by nearly 40% (from $100,000 to $64,000). The company positions itself as an extension of HR and tech teams and aims to improve employee experience and retention for employers managing visa-sponsored staff. Funding and TinySeed’s collaborative network will allow WayLit to focus on growth rather than day-to-day operations. The founders, Raj Singh and Satya Mishra, built the product based on their personal experiences as immigrants who worked on visas.
